Nina was doing well with her sleep after a few months of insomnia, but now she is experiencing insomnia and a racing heart and is concerned. Bijal has begun tapering sleep medications, but is experiencing severe insomnia (and hypnic jerks again) even before completely stopping the medications. Roshna's insomnia comes and goes, and she feels tired and she's a bit perplexed. Lot's to discuss!

Michelle went down the cliff after coming off a medication 5 years ago. Having climbed back to the edge, living in a state of constant anxiety, something remarkable happened. She randomly stumbled across a video from this channel and heard that "many things can cause disrupted sleep, but only how you think of them can cause insomnia". In this important episode we talk about how when we add a qualitative label such as "over", "too" or "excessive", we are faced with not only one insult but two. The pain point + the judgement of our reaction to said pain point takes us towards a path of effort and getting stuck.
