Open Class #20: To Frima, Jeremie, Anonymous, Kim, Setsu and Jay
Wednesday Oct 14, 2020
Wednesday Oct 14, 2020
Kim has zaps and electric jolts and had breast cancer and an allergic reaction to ciproflixacine and often goes 30 hours with no sleep - what’s happening? Frima has taken a CBTi course but still has 2 nights of little sleep weekly, should she try BedTyme? Anonymous wonders that to do when the clock time changes for the winter. Jeremie and Jay both have hit roadblocks. Setsu knows that he shouldn’t take the challenge of problems solving that the brain suggests when sleepless nights come along, but how does one get there?

Sporadic Fatal Insomnia Case 22 in the World
Sunday Oct 11, 2020
Sunday Oct 11, 2020
In this unique episode, Kasper shares his eye witness account of how his mother passed away 14 months after having her first symptoms of what turned out to be sporadic fatal insomnia (sfi). The diagnosis was confirmed the only way it is possible, by autopsy, and this was the 22nd registered case in the world, and the first from Denmark.
We learn that sfi is not an insomnia and that during the rapid progression of symptoms, sleep was never something she worried about.

Insomnia Insight #343: The Reddit Horror Story Explained
Thursday Oct 08, 2020
Thursday Oct 08, 2020
Have you hear of someone who tried everything and still has insomnia after 15 years? That's because of and identity/investment/incentive issue OR because of bad teaching. Understanding this is important as hopelessness isn't your friend. Hope on the other hand is a commodity you can't have enough of. And knowing that you will not be in the spot that person is in will give you plenty!
